8:00 am - 9:00 am - Pick-up from your hotel and start of the tour.
First stop: Sacsayhuaman Archaeological Park (1 hour 15 min visit). Located north of the city at 3,700 m.a.s.l. Its name means "place where the falcon is satiated". Construction began under the government of Pachacutec, with more than 20 thousand men working on it. The Spanish called it "Fortress".
Tambomachay: (t'ampu = lodging, Macha'y = resting place). A place of rest and water worship. 40-minute visit.
Pucapucara: Control point for visitors from other regions entering Cusco.
Qenqo: Place of offerings, its name means "labyrinth".
Cristo Blanco (White Christ): Viewpoint from which you can see the entire city of Cusco. You can observe the puma shape that the city had in Inca times, with its head at Sacsayhuaman. Time for photos.
Last destination: Koricancha or Temple of the Sun. A place of worship to the God Inti, located within the city. We can appreciate the different worship enclosures and a vast esplanade where ceremonies with dances and rituals were held.
End of tour: Return to hotel.
