Our History

Sanctours was born in 2015 with a dream: to share the magic of Cusco and its surroundings with travelers from around the world. Founded by Carlos Mendoza, a passionate mountain guide with over 15 years of experience, our company started as a small local operator with just one vehicle and a team of 3 guides.

Over the years, we grew thanks to the trust of our travelers and our commitment to quality, safety, and respect for culture and the environment. Today, after nearly a decade, we are a team of more than 20 people dedicated to creating unforgettable experiences in every corner of Cusco, from the Sacred Valley to the Manu jungle.

Our name, Sanctours, comes from the combination of "San" (sacred) and "tours", in honor of the Sacred Valley of the Incas, the heart of our operation and the place we love most to show our visitors.
